In this workshop, students learned through hands-on process of making gold pigment from genuine gold leaf. The second part of this workshop focused on painting techniques and the the idea behind decorative elements in miniature painting. A meditative process in which participants worked on a different pace than what they may be used to, breathing, centering, and creating.
