The single session workshop was an introduction to mineral pigments painting and gold leaf gilding techniques. The workshop was mainly meant for participants to enjoy art making in an unfamiliar medium, gaining familiarity by making discoveries.

Using the typical elements of a landscape and re-making it differently with personal sensibilities, participants were encouraged to re-think about the form of expression in traditional paintings, and worked to break away from a preconceived notion of beauty and perfection.
